Although I have not been as active on my blog as I had hoped this year, I would like to thank those who have remained my faithful followers! It’s been a great year, and it’s now less than a month until my 30 Things Project wraps up! Stay tuned in 2015 to find out what I succeeded in, what I learnt and maybe a few cool pictures.
And now, without further ado – here’s a little year in review from WordPress. Thanks guys and here’s to a bigger and better 2015 xx

Hi all! Just a short post tonight…
This morning at GRIT there was a new girl next to me. She didn’t put much weight on her bar; and did stop a few times along the way but I was still impressed with the effort she put in. I must admit that I compared myself to where she was and thought back to when I first tried out GRIT. I still have to slow down a bit sometimes or miss a rep; although today I didn’t have to stop and I was able to do more reps than I normally would. I also increased the weight I use on my free weight for a bit more of a challenge.
When I think back to my first GRIT class I can see how far I have come. My fitness and strength have improved dramatically and although it never gets easier; I left the class with a smile knowing that I am progressing each and every session.
I hope that the new girl continues to train so that she too, can look back in 6 months time and see how far she has come.
It doesn’t get easier – you just get stronger.
