Exciting changes in store!

To all my lovely followers. I feel like it’s time to spread my wings a little, particularly with the changes that are in store in the next couple of months.

So – here is a little taster!

I am in the process of moving from WordPress to a Wix website!

It’s still very much a work in progress, so I’m unsure on the exact ETA but hopefully you guys will enjoy the new look!  Any thoughts?

How do you know when it’s too much?

Just a quick random one tonight…

How do you know when you are following too many fitness/body building accounts on Instagram?

When you have a dream where you look at yourself in the mirror and suddenly you’re flexing and you’ve got all these muscles you thought you never had!  And when you wake up…you realise you’re not quite there yet!  Actually you realise that you will probably never be there – because you looked like a man!!!!

Was my dream a prediction of the future?  Or was it simply the fact I’d looked one too many buff bodies on instagram before I fell asleep last night.

Whatever it was, it made me laugh when I randomly remembered it half way through the afternoon.

Who knows. if my subconscious mind thinks I already look like that maybe my body will follow 😉

Good night!

This post is going to be short and sweet.  I planned to write a longer post tonight, but I’m not feeling too crash hot and so am already in bed but thought I’d just drop by and see what’s going on in the “blogosphere” [is that the correct term] before I crash out for the night.

I find that it’s hard to keep up with all the blogs I follow unless I check in every day.  I love reading what other people are up to and have learnt so much already about all kinds of things.  It really is a fascinating place!  I’m so glad I was introduced to the world of blogging.

Anyway – that’s really about it for now.  I’m off to sleep and hopefully this headache will have disappeared by morning.  I better not be getting sick [the weather has taken a bit of turn towards winter this week which is always the cue for a cold!] as I am going away next week over the Easter break…so fingers crossed a good nights sleep and lots of water, vitamins, health food and exercise will keep it at bay until at least after my trip 🙂

The doors close on Summer for another yr…until May anyway :)

Boom.  Autumn.  Where did you sneak up from?  Another summer gone…and on the way to winter.  Until May – when I will get another 3 hopefully-wonderfully-warm weeks in the USA.  The countdown is on and I’m excited!  I cannot wait.  But still so much to prepare in the mean time.

Preparation …. now that’s a word which has taken a back seat this past week – and so I have stumbled a little on the road to the fit, healthy new me.  Last Sunday with people staying, and Soundwave, I just didn’t get a chance to prepare for my meals and I also didn’t really have much time this week for as much exercise as I would have liked.  My results showed this as I didn’t lose any weight – in fact I gained 200grams…not much in the scheme of things but makes it harder to get to that goal!

Unfortunately, today didn’t quite run according to plan and I didn’t make the supermarket…but tomorrow I plan to spend some time in my lunch break writing out a bit of a shopping list and my exercise for the week and I’ll swing past the supermarket on the way home.  I think it works out better to only buy for a few days so that the fresh food doesn’t go off if not eaten after a few days.

This is just a short one…and apologies if it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense – lack of sleep affecting me here.  It’s more thoughts I needed to get out of my head.  So, until next time, take it easy 🙂

This week has zoomed by – I really don’t know where it went.  A lot happened this week, but more about that later…
