Paleo for Babies?!

on March 13, 2015

Hi all!

It’s been a while and I certainly have a lot of news…but my time is limited!  Going back to uni this year has left me with very little free time due to my heavy work load.  But I just wanted to touch base and share with you an interesting article regarding a new cook book which was due to be released today.  I would be very interested and hearing the opinion of those who are paleo advocates.  Personally I am neither for nor against it but I do believe this idea of a milk substitute for babies is terrible.

Check it out here:

Hopefully I’ll be back soon to give you guys a bit of an update on what 2015 has brought to the table.

Hope you’re all well and 2015 is treating you well.

  1. I’m wondering how much of the rejection of the book is another bid to keep the status quo of the dairy and formula industries. Babies who couldn’t drink from their mums hundreds of years ago didn’t have formula. They had wet nurses but that’s not happening anymore… I also don’t think it’s natural for humans to drink cows milk either. It’s for baby cows 🙂

    • Hrmm very interesting point Kylie! Would all babies have had wet nurses? And if not, would they have used something else – such as the recipe in this book – or would they have died?
