Progression of me

from eighty four to now…

on December 28, 2012

And so my favourite time of year has come to an end.  I can’t believe it’s over…it’s scary how quickly the past week went by.  I planned to write a lot more than I did; but I am pleased to report that I got to see many of my friends and spend some quality time with family – and that, to me, is what the Christmas season is all about.

Christmas Day was a little different this year – my Mum’s brother’s family are living overseas and were unable to make it, as they have been back in Oz numerous times this year…and of course my Grandfather is no longer with us either.  My favourite moments this year, however, involved my little niece.  She is almost 3 and watching her excitement made the day so much more worthwhile!  I know, somewhere, my Grandfather was looking down on her smiling along with me.

Now that Christmas has come to a close – it’s that time when we reflect on 2012 and prepare for 2013.  I spent a bit of time chatting with a good friend yesterday and made a new decision in relation to my 5-1o year plan.  Now, I’ve always been a planner – but this recent decision of working out exactly “what I want to do with my life” is probably the furthest in advance I’ve planned anything since I was back at school.

And now…it’s in writing…and wow – I thought I was excited before?!  Well now, it feels even more real and all I have to say is

So, for those of you who may be curious as to what my 5-10 year plan involves…without further ado….I present to you – MY PLAN!
