Mini Challenge Day 4

on November 16, 2012

Yes, I know what you’re thinking, where is Day 3?  Or maybe you’re not…either way, I’m going to tell you – my dedication post took its place.  I have mixed feelings when I listen to that song…but the majority are happy as I reminisce (is that the correct spelling? Spellcheck seems to believe so!) of all the good memories 🙂

So …. moving on!

I’m going to spice this post up a little bit … oh yes – check this out!

Writing on the right side of the page…oh the excitement of it all 😉

No, seriously…let me get back on track here….

I was sitting on the bus this evening on the way back from a lovely dinner with a work colleague (and that would be the number one item on my “things that made me happy list” today!) when I was skipping songs on my iPod…why you may ask?  Well, because this part of me is embarrassed by them…why?  Because other people may not like them…

Other people?!  Who cares what other people think….even more so, when it comes to my music choices…

This is something I have struggled with for a long time….caring what other people think.  And recently I decided that I would make this a goal of mine – to get to a point where I am proud of the clothes I wear and the music I listen to because that’s what makes me, well me!  At this point in time…it’s a work in progress.  But I’m pleased to say that I stopped skipping my iPod at the point when I started thinking “Yeah!  Who cares what other people think?!” and I listened proudly to Eiffel 65’s “Move Your Body”.

Yep – I’ve just announced to the world…that I actually like that song 😛
